The Manchester site is located 10 min. from Manchester city centre. In 2007, CARBOGEN AMCIS Ltd. was created in Manchester when it integrated SynProTec DRC, also owned by Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals Ltd. The new organization can now offer the rapid supply of early-phase cGMP material, as well as the later phase non-GMP and GMP supply of small API quantities.
More than 80 employees work at our Manchester site today.
Activities
Our Manchester site focuses on the development and manufacturing of non-GMP APIs. The facility is fully integrated into the in-house supply chain for complex APIs.
The site operates under an accredited Cosmetics GMP Quality System including Standard Operating Procedures for all aspects of project execution (including cleaning & avoidance of cross-contamination). The scope of approval is applicable to the production, control, storage, and shipment of active ingredients for skin cream cosmetic products.

Position Overview: As an Analytical Development Chemist, you will spearhead analytical development projects with a focus on NMR analysis. Your primary goal will be to conduct these projects efficiently, safely, and within specified quality, time, and budget constraints set by the company. This role is integral to our Product Research & Development (PR&D) department, where effective communication and collaboration with managers, project leaders and clients are essential to project success. Additionally, you will work closely with our Quality Control & Assurance (QC&A) colleagues to ensure that performance targets are consistently met.
Carbogen Amcis Ltd are looking to recruit a Production Technician to join the Production department at our Manchester site. The role includes carrying out process instructions as described in the batch sheet in a safe and professional manner in order to produce results to the required quality and within the time and cost budgets allocated by the Production Manager.
The production technician is to be able to work effectively with senior production technicians, production chemists and other colleagues in order to ensure that individual and company performance targets are met. The position is also to ensure that the equipment is operated correctly in the manner described in SOPs pertinent to the department.
We have the perfect location for our site, 5 min. from the Etihad stadium grounds and only 10 min. from Manchester city centre. We benefit from good transportation links since we are so close to the city centre.
